To be honest, if Shannon hadn't asked me to post, I probably wouldn't have. Bad right?... Na, the truth is I havn't got many more great poems to put up, so I'm stuck for choice. But I found this one, so it might be the last one for quite a while. Sucks...
I'll try and find inspiration for a new one though. I know I've been saying that for ages, but for some reason I dont get inspired eaily anymore. I'm working on my major writers block, really I am... =[

Anyway, this one is called 'Missing you'. Hope you like it.

Sometimes I look up at the sky,

I think of you up there now,

It's not easy to know I'll never see you again,

But i know i just have to bare it somehow...

I didn't know it could hurt this much,

With just 2 people no longer there,

You used to tell me everything would be alright,

Now it feels no-one cares...

I'll lay awake at night thinking of you,

Praying to see you looking down on me,

But no...no matter how hard I try,

It's only the stars I see...

I used to say the biggest star in the sky was you,

And that's the one I'd wish upon,

So it felt like you were still with me,

Even thought i knew you were gone...

The day the news came,

I tried to keep strong,

I held in my tears,

For so very long...

I didnt't cry around people,

Because it felt weird,

One minute you were there,

The next you'd disapeared...

If i could have one wish,

It'd be that you'd come back,

To give me the reasurance,

That I now lack...

But as long as i dream of you,

Once in a while,

Maybe...just maybe...

That'll be enough for me to force a smile...

And as long as i keep the hope,

That one day I'll see you again,

I'll live my life happy,

And that smile will remain...
