Possibly more pointless words that you will read nonetheless =]

Heyy. =]

I've so far had no suggestions for a title for that poem. I know that someone was trying to think of one but couldn't, so thanks for trying anyway dude.

TITLE ME PEOPLE!!!

Kanyway.

I'm gonna' post another poem here today, this one's called 'Arms of the wood'. I wrote this from a picture on google. I think this is the picture.

This is the picture I think I used.
I wrote it a while ago, could be wrong,.
But I could have used this. =]

It goes with the poem, so it may well be the one I used when I wrote this. Here it is:

The swarm,
So dark it suffocates,
Not light to see,
What in the blackness awaits,
The crowded path,
Hazardous amongst the towers,
The wooden ones,
Above the weeds for flowers,
Dusty,
In the soft heavenly mist,
It chills,
Hiding the monsters that cannot exist,
Howling,
And the silver hanging ball,
Above the world,
And we feel so small,
Traces of people,
Who there once walked,
Giggles and whispers,
Echoes of talks,
Low hanging hands,
Patting on shoulders,
Repeating the warnings,
People once told us,
Not so much a cross road,
But no one way should,
Free us from the grip,
Of the arms of the wood.

Tada. =]

Now you can see why the photo goes with the poem. So yeah, as usual, comment and that. Appreciated. =]

HI CHARLOTTE!

Nothing from me.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyy people!!!!!!

This is not gonna be one of my poems...unfortunatly. Because I know you love them. So I want to upset you. No I don't. I'm kidding. Relax!

Naaaa. This is basically about a poet who's poems I have recently fallen in LOVE with. Her name is Emily Dickinson.
Emily Dickinson. She. Is. Amazing.

She was an American poet, born 10th December 1830. Her poetry, in my opinion, and I'm sure, in the opinion of maaaaany other poetry freaks (such as me =]) is absolutly amazing. The few that I have found time to read have been great, and I enjoy reading her work. My favorite has GOT got be 'because I could not stop for death'.
I first heard a small bit of the poem on the television programme 'Torchwood'. (Yes. I like Torchwood. And Doctor Who. They own.) I liked the verse I heard from the moment I heard it, and, not immensly long ago, I read the whole poem. Ever since that has been my favorite poem, not just of hers, but of all the poems I've read. Granted, I havn't read millions, or even hundreds, but I am studying anthology. I may not be the best critic of poetry, but I can sure favortise this one. This is the poem:

Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality.

We slowly drove, he knew no haste,
And I had put away
My labour, and my leisure too,
For his civility.

We passed the school where children played,
Their lessons scarcely done;
We passed the fields of gazing grain,
We passed the setting sun.

We paused before a house that seemed
A swelling of the ground;
The roof was scarcely visible,
The cornice but a mound.

Since then 'tis centuries; but each
Feels shorter than the day
I first surmised the horses' heads
Were toward eternity.

Like I said. Amazing. I've read a few more of her poems, but I stick to this being my favorite. Her works are worth a read.
Alot of people don't like poetry and think that it's not worth reading, or that it's boring, or that it makes you 'uncool' to read it. Well, here I'm making my own cool. Poetry is a form of art, and its a way of expression. I express myself through poetry. Alot of people write diaries, that's not concidered uncool, it's just a way of not bottling it all up. Same with poetry for me. Poems have a meaning, just like artwork. Finding the meaning is up to you. I like reading poems because you can take then any way you want or can. I like to do the same with mine. I don't like telling people what they are about, because I'd prefer people to read it and think they can relate to it. Even if they don't understand it and cannot relate to it, I still want people to think, 'wow'.
Now, my poems are nothing compared to Emily dickinsons. Let's face it. Her name is known, mine's not. Besides that, I can't write half as well as her. But I can use her as an idol. Someone to look up to and think that I want to be able to write like her. So I do. And I truely think Emily Dickinson is brilliant. =]

Thanks for reading this guys. Sorry I didn't put any of my stuff up, I just thought I should share where some of my inspiration comes from, and give her a mention as one of the reasons I carry on writing poetry.

I hope this hasn't bored you all too much. I've now posted 2 blogs with alot of writing. Sorry ...

Maybe the next one wont be so bad, but until then ... Have a good evening =]

Another blog post.

Well hello there. =]

I'm back. The happy me. WOOPIEEE. =]
I havn't written any new poems, but I am gonna upload another one I already wrote. Oh yes. Are you ready for this!? Kgood. =]

Ok so I have this poem but it is currently unnamed. Sucks. Comments would be nice. Because it needs a name. Best suggestion wins? =S Maybe anyway.

Anyways, this is the poem.

The heavens glow,
Their angelic light,
Their pure radiance,
A blissful sight,
It reaches down,
To touch your heart,
A glorifying mist,
Of the sky’s best art,
And the hand of God,
Projects a golden ray,
Upon the hilltops,
Of today,
Lighting the shadow,
Of the clouds so low,
And their dim lit light,
Of their soft luminous glow,
And the angel drifts,
Down through the spotlight,
Silently watching,
Over the night,
His feathered wings,
On show so grand,
The peaceful white,
To calm the land,
And a golden crown,
Just shines above,
It glitters with,
Undying peace and love,
And he guides you,
Your body and soul,
With words of wisdom,
Your minds control.

Woooo! K. thats it. Hence the 'woo'. I'm a little bit sarcastic. Ignore me. No don't...fools!
Anyway.
Comments please. Need a name. HELP.
I'll keep posting more blog posts with more poems. Thanks to the people who have been on here so far. I've had some nice feedback, makes me smile. I like to smile. Make me smile more with more feedback! Me likes feedback. =]
This possitive feedback mainly came from the poem 'barbara'. I'm glad so many of you liked it. Alot of people commented on a picture that was made for it, which was nice because the picture went with the poem as it was a picture of Barbara. Thanks to my mother for doing that for me. =]
Also, alot of people have said 'From the day the angels fell' is their favorite poem of mine, so thanks to all of you too. I hope more of you will let me know what your favorite poem is, then I can get a clear idea of which one I can be smug over. =]

Thanks again for reading my blog peoples! Sorry for the big  l o n g  speech about it. Must have been boring to read. God I do go on, don't I. Hope I didnt bored you tooooo much. Well, if I did and you're still reading, more fool you for not stopping sooner! HA. No but in all seriousness, thanks for boring yourselves for my sake. It means alot that you would do such a thing. But ya know what? You're still reading and probably laughing to yourself right now, so I'm gonna smile and let you go now.

Well, after this last message. I need to mention my BEST FRIEND Charlotte in this blog now. She complained about not having a mention yesterday, so here it is dude! I love you lots!!!!!!!!

Just a quick message...

Hi. =]

First of all, this is a quick message for someone. I will not say names, people who know me will know who when they read this.

R.I.P. We all love you and miss you. No more pain now. x

The poem I was going to post here isn't really the best one because when I wrote it, it was dedicated to 2 other people, so I don't think that's fair. So I don't have a poem I can dedicate to this person yet. I will try to write one, and when I do, I'll edit this post and put it in.

For now though, I'll leave this post as it is.

Thanks for reading guys, hopefully the next post will be more joke-ish. I prefer that sort. I just felt I needed to dedicate this to this person, because she deserves a mention. We Love you loads. Always in our hearts. x

K. Thanks guys. =]

[READ ON FOR EDITED BLOG...]

Ok. I wrote a poem now, so her name's gonna be in this blog afterall, because her name is the name of the poem. I hope this is ok, it was quite hard to write. It's called 'Barbara'. Leave a comment please!! I want honest feed back so...=] K. Here goes.

A star on earth that always shone,
Now back to heaven while we carry on,
Welcomed by the angels of your memories,
In the white light; your childhood families,
And now when we reach we can feel your touch,
Your heavenly hands and your guiding watch,
Your heart of gold now in the chest of an angel,
Relaxing in peace for you were less able,
So far away yet you’re oh so near,
In a place of rest where you need not fear,
And though we may cry and tears may roll,
You’re still in our hearts, and still in our souls.

I hope its good. Honest comments please, and feel free to pass my blog on to others.

R.I.P barbara!

Bye readers. =]

More funky fonts Ft. Some poetry =]

Heyy readers... AKA Shannon and Georgia. =]

Second mention. WOW.

K. So.

I've found that blogs are hard to write when there's nothing to write about. So again this is pointless minus the fact it shall have some poemsssss. =] I'm gonna try writing a new one soon, not sure what about, inspiration comes in small, f a r   a p a r t amounts lately. It's not good. K, here's the first of this blogs stuffs. It's called 'Rope burns'. Take it your own way. Again. Enjoy. =]

The rope growing shorter,
I slip towards the end,
The fresh un-ripped start,
Is hidden amongst the bends,
It’s a struggle to hold on,
With you upon the start,
I can feel you slip away,
And pull a bit of me apart,
Burning red my losing hands,
No gloves on to protect me,
The smaller you get the longer I wait,
To see what the outcome will be.

So yeah. That's that. It's hardly the first one I posted, but it's OK I suppose. It was kinda a personal one though. You don't need to know what was going on. It's not going on now. So - YAY.

K. Since that one was kinda' short, I'll upload another short one. It's called 'Taken for granted' and I kinda' like it. =] K. Here goes.

Those who simply get,
Cannot yet know to receive,
Whereas one can bet,
The less lucky’s smiles deceive,
Yet those who much do own,
Just want more to get,
And those ones most alone,
They do not at all fret.

That be it. =] I'd like to get some comments to be honest. COMMENT FOOLS! =]
I'm joking of course. You don't have to comment. COMMENT ANYWAY!

I'll post some more poems up soon. I need more readers! Send this on? =]

Thanks for reading!

Not sure...

Hellooooo.

Blogs are so fun when there's nothing to blog. Well they aren't really are they ..
I think I might post my first poem actually. Well it's not the first one I wrote, but its probably the one people like most, so I think I'll start with that. It's called 'From the day the angels fell'. I think it's pretty good I guess, so just let me know what you think in the comments. =] Muchly appreciated. =] K. Here goes ...

The rage of the earth,
From the sea of the core,
The anger of the tides,
With a crash on the shore,
The wide open heavens,
And the awakening hell,
A rising devil,
From the day the angels fell,
A blanket of doom,
That hides away light,
The end of the road,
Misty, blurry, but surely in sight,
The spinning wind,
Bringing a spiralling world,
The ferocious blows,
As the waters all curl,
The fires of the sun,
Meeting the earth that we walk,
Screaming and yelling,
The words it once talked,
And the sheet of white,
The feathers that fell,
Leaving us,
With stories to tell,
The churning stomach,
Of the crust of the earth,
And the lake of disaster,
A new era’s birth.

So yeah. That's the poem.

   What does it mean?
-Interpret it your own way .. lazy people! =]

Thanks for reading. If you did. Chances are alot of you scrolled down and didnt read it. But if you did .. you're awesome. =]

Kthanksbye.

(BY THE WAY .. HI SHANNON AND GEORGIA !! =])

Hi =]

Making a blog is hard. I've been sitting here for god knows how long thinking of what to write. WHAT DO I WRITE?!?!?
I asked a friend...she said her mum, so...a special mention to your mum ev. =]

Made this mainly for poems for now, but this is a first blog so it's for a hi. There's only so much hi you can say though.

How long is a blog meant to be?

I might go off topic a bit, my mind likes to wander.

By the way, as you probably have guessed, I call myself Smudge. It's a nickname. I'm 15. Not really much more you need to know to be honest.

But yeah.

My ordering here was totally wrong. Well anyway, that's it I think, so I'll try my best to remember to post blogs here, because blogging on a blogging website might help.
