Wishing you a merry christmas

Happy Christmas eve!!

The big day is nearly here. Excited? So you should be!

I promised that I'd update you on Christmas eve, so here it is. There's no poem unfortunatly; just an update. There's not really much to say, so I just wanna' wish you all a fantastic day tomorrow. I hope you and your friends and family have an amazing day and you get exactly what you wanted from Santa!
Charlotte & family; hope you have a great day too. (Well had, because by the time you read this Christmas will be over.)

Don't forget to watch Doctor Who the Christmas special by the way. It's on at 6 I think? Double check that. Eastenders looks set to be good too, so don't forget that either. How I love Christmas TV.

Now for some mentions.
Shannon, Georgia & Nathan; have a great day guys, gonna' miss yous over the holiday.
Bogac; look at my blog more please? =] Even though you don't celebrate it, have a good day anyway.
And all other friends & my wonderful family; have a great day. =]

Merry Christmas everyone!

7 days to go!

Good afternoon. =]

You may be aware that Christmas is just around the corner! I kinda hate it. But no school on the upside! And doesn't it look beautiful outside...It's clouded over again now so we may be in for even more snow! I keep checking the window.

This is probably be the last update until after Christmas, though you never know, I might update once more before then. Actually, if I don't forget, I'll try and post on Christmas eve, just to wish you all a merry Christmas.
But before that, I have a poem for ya'll. Wrote it a few days ago, only just typed it up. Appologies on the break. Now, I don't think this ones amazing, but it's alright. Hope you enjoy it.

I do not understand the world,
And so I stand underneath,
It buzzes up above my brain,
To much for my belief,
The liars of this society –
Flash those before my eyes,
With the monsters in creation,
Unable to say why
They continue their selfish treason,
While we – the peasants suffer,
I – the lonely lamb,
And they the ones of slaughter.

Upon their podium they drone,
Monotonous in their expression,
And those affected watch and wait,
For the termination of their possession.

A whizz of cloud full up with
Exploding pointless nothing,
Times of conflict while we question:
When will civilisation be king?

That was called 'The world around me'. I partially wrote that after two exams were over, then finished it at home. Hope its ok. =]

I'll leave you in peace now guys. Enjoy the rest of your snow days if you've got it, and don't forget your advent calendar! Have a good week running upto Christmas, and hopefully you'll be in for another post closer to the time. If not; Merry Christmas!

As promised: Part 2

Hello and welcome to part two!

I said yesterday that you would be in for a double dosage of Smudgesaysso. And here it is! I shall be uploading the second poem for you all, but first a quick update on life. I don't think you care; but I'm gonna tell you all anyway.

The mocks have started. (Warning: I may not post often because of this.) Today I had History, then additional science.

I failed science.

I'm exausted. I hate exams like anyone else does, and I just wanted to sleep for the rest of the day afterwards. You're lucky I'm writing this, I could be asleep! Joke, I don't want to sleep right now.
So yeah.
Back to the poem.
Ok, so I'm gonna' explain why the poem has been written and who it is in the point of view of. It's not me. It's not a film character. It's not a book character. It's not a real person - historical or current. The person has no relevence to people generally, the only people who would know what the poem is about would be those of you in my drama class. If you're reading this, you're probably thinking I'm sad for writing this about her, but I think it's relatable
Basically; the girl has rumours spread about her, she may be the new girl who everyone finds weird, but she is getting greif at school, at home, anywhere really. It's been a while and everything has built up a bit too much in her mind. The poem is basically her thoughts, what she'd like to see and feel. If you've ever felt like I've just described, you might find it relates to you? I don't know; I think I've felt this way in the past. (I'm not psycotic. Everyone feels like this sometime I think, it just doesn't actually amount to the consiquences you say or think.) Anyway. The poem's called 'The day the smiles stopped'. Well done Annabelle on winning the naming competition against Shannon. It was decided by the amazing Charlotte. Thanks dude. So yeah; enjoy. =]

Dark red dripping walls:
That’s what I want to see;
Just to see them suffer,
Just as if they’re me.
Their smiling evil faces –
They think that they’re all so great,
That’s just the kind of thing
That fills me up with hate.
I’d like to see them notice
The world in which I’m in,
And to see them try to cope with
What I cannot even begin.
I’d love to hear them cry,
So I’m not the one that has to,
And just to see them struggle
And try to make it through.
They think that I’m the weak one,
Well now who’s crouching low?
A thousand people down;
The entire world to go.

Thanks for reading guys. I've waffled on enough, so I wont torture you with it now aswell. Comment and pass it on please! =]

Oh! And if you have twitter, follow me at Hollie_Cook
I will follow you back no questions asked! Thanks guys!

As promised

Heyyyyyy readers!!

I'm back! Again. And this time, it's not just an update...I actually have a poem for you! Oh yes, now you're excited. Well just wait until you hear what I'm about to say next. You're about to be doubley amazed because...............

I have two poems to upload!

Now you're happy right? Unfortunatly I'm a horrible person, and you're only getting one today. But you still get one. The second one isn't very good because it's written in role and people will think it's about me. It's not. I'll explain all if and when I upload it.

So anyway. This one was written in PSE and inspired again by a lesson. Drama. I wont go into why. The actual inspiration was one little part of the lesson and pretty insignificant. But this came out of it so to me it was important. It's called 'The calm after the storm'. Hope ya like it. =]

And so it ends.
The hectic chaos of the vicious swarm
Abruptly turns to nothing.
And the silence is born.
It drifts through the stillness;
Contaminated the atmosphere with
A kind of tension that when you hear,
You too stand still and stiff.
And it’s deadly.
Slowly it infects what’s near
And like a chain reaction
It reproduces fear.
Like a parasite –
It feeds on nerves.
And it feasts upon suspense,
Leaving nothing as evidence when it curves
Throughout its victims.
It cools the air and sends shivers
Hurtling down our spines –
- Oh the silent world it leaves us.

The calm after the storm.

Umm..so yeah. There it is. Hope you all enjoyed it. It took alot of scribbles to get it right so you better appreciate it! I'm joking; if its bad let me know!
Comment.
Send the blog on.
The usual.

Happy Decemberrrr !

Heyy!

So December's here, and don't we know it! It's cold right!? The snow is now ice here...I fell over this morning. Almost fell over two other times too. I'm sitting here in pyjamas, fluffy socks and gloves while I write this.

School was open today. Boo! So I don't have a poem to post unfortunatly. Sorry. But I'm looking for inspiration and as soon as I come up with something, I'll post it here. This is basically a post to see what the weathers like for you. Wherever you are, comment and tell me how the snow is (if you have any).

So that's all really. Comment, discuss, I don't mind; I like getting comments! Thanks for reading.

Oh, by the way, good luck to people who have their mocks starting this week or next week. Dreading it? Yeah - me too. German Friday then the full ones next week. Good luck!
