I havn't blogged in a while, so I took the chance to ask Charlotte for another quote of inspiration to guide me towards my next piece of writing. Of course she took no shame in giving me a line in order to write a poem, and now I have something for you to read. You're lucky, see.
So yeah. This is called 'Out of Reality'. It's pretty self explanitory I think. Anyway, I hope you like it, and feel free to leave me a comment, and pass this blog on. Seriously, I want to get some more readers. I know there are peope out there who read this, and you're being selfish for keeping it to yourself! Only joking of course. But really, passing it on is appreciated. I'll love you forever and ever. xD
Stitched upon a face are pebbles dark and dead,
Grey, they scorch their place upon ones sleepy head.
Busy within the day, they’ve seen both good and bad,
They’ve untold words to say about the times they’ve have had.
But as sunset turns to dusk, and life becomes unheard;
When the moonlight carries dust, and your vision becomes blurred,
The God of day gives in, and gives way to the night,
Where there’s no illegal sin, and you are subject to a fright.
Outside of reality, all you know is merged to one,
And the thought of actuality, disappears into none.
There to take its’ place, a planet far away,
Where characters move apace, without dread of the day,
And the purple skies up high, stay clear without a cloud,
Where all your troubles die, and your imagination’s loud,
Oh the land within a dream is one of such desire,
The gentle tranquil stream is sure to tame the fire.
