Well, again Charlotte has given me a phrase from which to write a poem. This time it was 'Tricks of the mind', which I ended up naming this poem, surprise surprise. :) So yeah, I wrote a poem about 5 minutes ago, so I thought I'd blog it.
I have another one to post here, but I havn't gotten around to typing it, still. I'm lazy, I know XD Anyway, here's the one I just wrote.
They shout. Up in your head they’re screaming,
Praying for the day you snap.
Hammering on mentality, they‘re in there scheming,
You’re falling into their trap.
Harsh words they’ve lied to you have taken their toll,
They hit you, break you, hurt you.
To everyone else they’re nothing at all,
But they’ve blocked your only route.
Now everyone knows that you’re not okay,
And they laugh as you walk by,
The world is your prison, and you are its slave,
Tricks of the mind are now Nye.
